Questi alberi sono facili da installare e rimuovere con una semplice chiave.<br \/>Un albero cardanico scanalato \u00e8 essenziale per facilitare l'interconnessione di diversi componenti. Un apposito strumento per alberi cardanici (PTO) si innesta sull'albero cardanico scanalato e lo ruota per allinearlo con l'albero di ingresso di una struttura complementare. Questo strumento viene utilizzato per collegare l'albero cardanico a un trattore. Pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato anche su camion, rimorchi o qualsiasi altro veicolo a motore.<br \/>Una chiave 40 \u00e8 utile anche per fissare un albero cardanico.
