Installation & Selection Guide

Getting the right shaft is useless if installed incorrectly. The number one killer of PTO shafts? Length.

The Safety Checklist:

1. İki kere ölç: Hook up the harrow. Raise and lower the 3-point hitch. Find the position where the PTO stubs are closest together.
2. The “Bottom Out” Risk: In that closest position, your compressed shaft must still have at least 25mm (1 inch) of clearance. If it bottoms out, it will destroy your tractor’s PTO bearing instantly.
3. The Overlap Rule: When extended to the maximum working position, the tubes must overlap by at least 1/3 of their length. Any less, and they might separate under load—a potentially fatal situation.
4. Guard Restraint: Always chain the yellow safety guard to a fixed point. A spinning guard is an illegal safety hazard in the Netherlands.
